Welcome to my Learning Portfolio!
My name is Charlotte Kuhlman, and on April 30th, I will be an official graduate of the University of Cincinnati, with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in German Studies. I have loved being a part of both this wonderful university and the University Honors Program. My experiences through UHP have helped me broaden my experiences through the people I have met, the different honors experiences I've been a part of, and the skills I have acquired. Throughout UC, I have found wonderful opportunities to flourish and grow as a future professional, student, and a leader. The classes that I have taken throughout my four years at UC have helped instill a renewed love of learning in me. Each class I have taken has helped me feel more confident and ready for my future in the education field, and I know that it is in large part due to the incredible professors and courses offered here. Additionally, I was given the opportunity to student teach at three different schools in the Greater Cincinnati Area throughout my two years in the cohort program at the College of Education. This has prepared me professionally in more ways than I ever imagined. On campus, I have been fortunate to be given numerous leadership opportunities through different campus activities. I served on the executive board for my sorority for two consecutive years, and participated in several educational clubs, and honoraries; such as Bearcat Buddies and Rho Lambda. At UC, I have acquired new knowledge and gained sufficient skills that I need to succeed in the ever intimidating "real world". I have a sharpened vision of my goals and dreams, and my passions and ambitions have only grown stronger; fueled by my newfound leadership skills and teaching experiences. I'm anxious but ready to step out into this next chapter of my life!
